The Society

Ryan Salter

I have been employed by MB solutions (formally BASF) for 14 years. In that time I have held varied roles in hard rock mining, which have provided me with a well rounded expereince of all facets of the shotcrete industry.
During my roles I have prioritised being on mine sites and underground regularly. This on site knowledge has given me an extensive skill set on shotcrete in mix designs, testing, problem solving shotcrete issues, training and audits. I have built a solid network in Australia, Asia Pacific and Globally, in the hard rock mining community where shotcrete is a pivitol factor of ground support requirements on sites.
My in house training with MB Solutions / BASF includes attendance at the Hagerbach underground testing facility in Switzerland, where we hold industry leading shotcrete workshops for customers and employees. My initial attendeance was as a student. I now attend as instructor, teaching others from around the world on shotcrete.
